End of the season in the Barclays Premiership see's myself go doubles galore to make it a happy end for both myself and Chelsea.
Double No. 1 - Goalscorer (Rooney) + Chelsea/Chelsea HT/FT Odds : 1.96 My best bet of the day. Rooney desperately wants to win the goals league ahead of Drogba and I have a feeling he'll net a couple today despite looking a bit out of it against Sunderland. Chelsea at home, in form, infront of their passionate fans and with a chance to win the title? Has to be Chelsea/Chelsea.
Double No. 2 - Arsenal + Fenerbache Odds : 1.68 Arsenal to win so hard that it'll be heard all the way to Turkey? Fulham have their minds on the Europa League final and have reported to be taking their reserves to the Emirates. Big advantage Arsenal who'll want to end on a positive note today. Fenerbache are chasing the title and need to win today !
Double No. 3 - West Ham - Man City (Both Teams to Score) + Man Utd Odds : 1.79 I've got a feeling it's going to be a very open game at Upton Park this afternoon. Tevez and Cole to score? Man Utd need no more motivation, they'll win against Stoke !
Singel - Aston Villa - Blackburn (Over 2.5 Goals) Odds : 1.75 Two disiplined coaches ready to let their teams play more fluidly? I can see it being 2-1 2-2 3-2 with Carew getting a brace this afternoon.

Thanks Munich, Now over to Barcelona !
It's nice to get a blog started on a win and what a comfortable win it was. After Bayern scored it just didn't look like Lyon would come back and win it. Well done to Munich and good luck in the final !
Now over to today's betting. There are quite a few bets available in mind including a nice golden one and a few silvers. First, obviously, I'd like to draw attention to Barcelona - Inter. I have no doubt that Barcelona can win this match but can they turn it around ? I've firmly believed that since the draw was made that Bayern would play Inter in the final. Inter won't make the same mistake Arsenal did in teh return match at Camp Nou and go head to head with Barca. It wouldn't surprise me if they play exactly the same way as at home where Motta and Cambiasso kept the midfield quiet which was key.
I'm going to for Over/Under bet on this game and have both a gold and silver bet.
Gold Bet : Under 4.5 Goals Silver Bet: Under 3.5 Goals
Odds : 1.20 and 1.50
Bookmaker : William Hill
Second and third bet of the day is in the Greek League. The playoffs have started and a Champions League place is up for grabs. It's AEK v PAOK and Aris v Olympiacos. In the Athens game I think they'll find it hard to stick a lot of goals past PAOK. AEK's striker Blanco won't play after having discussion with coach Bajevic which'll see the team swap tactic from 4-4-2 to a 4-2-3-1 to cope with the absence. PAOK will be happy with a point in this match and will look to try and force a 0-0. I'm again going for a under/over bet.
Silver Bet : Under 2.5 Goals
Odds : 1.50
Bookmaker : William Hill
Aris v Olympiacos. Aris will be absolutely demoralized after their cup defeat against Panathinaicos as that was the one thing they were going for this season. Olympiacos are looking to bounce into the champions leageu after a disappointing season of spending loads of money and getting no return. They start the playoffs with 4 points and either a win or draw will see them in a very strong position for the Champions League. I'm going to go with a double chance !
Silver Bet : Olympiacos not to loose ( X 2 )
Odds : 1.33

Jammy Germans To Madrid
Time for the first pick then and my first bet of this blog is on the Champions League semi final between Lyon and FC Bayern. Bayern has the ability to score goals in almost every game of Champions League and I expect them to score today too. I believe Lyon will continue their conservative approach in the game and will start to take risk after the 60 minutes as they know if they start to attack from the beginning then they will give chances for Bayern to score. Therefore, I expect a 1-1 or 0-1 result and Bayern to progress to the final. Moreover, I think the only goal from Bayern will be scored either by Olic or Robben and from Lyon I expect only Lisandro Lopez to find the net. Thus personally, I will pick Bayern not to loose.
Silver Bet: FC Bayern Double Bet ( X 2 )
Odds: 1.53

Welcome To My Betting Blog
It's time for kick off lads. I've decided to open up my own betting blog as I have felt I have been quite successfull with betting in recent years and felt it was time to share my picks with the rest of you. How I decided to do this is that after each pick I'll decide whether the pick is a Gold pick, a Silver pick or a Bronze Pick. Basically a gold pick will be "Less Risk", Silver "Risk" and Bronze "More Risk".
It must be said that I play mostly singles and the odd double here and there but no higher then that as I feel the risk and reward don't match with trebles, quads etc etc.
